Ottawa Fuel Efficiency Campaign
Simple Actions Matter in Ottawa!
Thanks to the dedication of over 100 volunteers, and with funding from our generous sponsors Natural Resources Canada, Canadian Tire and The Ontario Trillium Foundation, One Change successfully delivered our first fuel efficiency campaign in the city of Ottawa. The team was able to reach 13,000 people and personally deliver a free tire gauge, along with a message about fuel efficiency, through a city wide initiative including nine tire pressure clinics at Canadian Tire stores, seven community events, and a door-to-door delivery program.
13,000 digital tire gauges means Ottawa residents will:
- Save $1,170,000
- Cut 1,820,000 kg of CO2
- Prevent traffic accidents

Special thanks to our volunteers, everyone we met going door-to-door and to those who joined us at one of our exciting events to receive their free digital tire gauge. We would also like to thank the 140 community groups that participated in the campaign by spreading our message and helping us recruit volunteers. Ottawa has once again proven that simple actions matter.
